Odense Reunion 2004 - Diary

Sunday, June 20

(I posted this to the EV from the Orange shop in Odense)

Patricia A. and her husband picked me up at 12:00. They took me and my pics with their car to Odense, so I didn't have to pay for a train ticket. The weather alternated between sunshine and rain or both at the same time. In Denmark, if you don't like the weather, just wait

We arrived in Odense in the early Afternoon to sunny weather. We went to the B & B first where I dumped my stuff. Pinon booked a double room in a cute little red house. The host looked quite taken aback at having 3 people barge in on him instead of just one

After lightening the load of my backpack, we headed for the hotel where Patricia and her husband are staying. After unpacking we met up with Skipper and a friend of hers at the local McD's - not my favourite place, but easy to find They are camping and looked quite bedraggled from the rain and stormy weather.

I handed Skipper a gift of white mice and we grabbed a bite to eat while talking shop - photography. Afterwards, we went for a walk past Brandt's Klædefabrik (oh, this is practical having an æ on the Keyboard ) down to Filosofgangen. I was the only one who came here last year, so I acted the tour guide.

Skipper and her friend then left to see how their tent was doing while the rest of us took some peeks through the windows of the gallery. The location looked promising!

We took a stroll through the park in the Evening sunlight, then went back to Brandt's for a cup of coffee.

When it got too cold to sit outside, Patricia and her husband drove me back to my place where I finished unpacking and dropped into bed
