Scotland 2007

In the past, I have travelled all the provinces of those two beautiful islands across the Channel except for the northernmost one. So, when Runrig announced their gig at Loch Ness, it was an invitation that I couldn't decline. Moreover, after spending two years learning the Gaelic language, it was high time to finally visit Scotland and put my skills to use. I hooked up with a good friend who had travelled there the year before, and whose experience in organising the trip was invaluable. Still, after having our flights cancelled and one of our Bed and Breakfast reservations lost, we started to get the feeling something didn't want us to go. However, we persevered, so join me on my hunt for music, food, architecture, books, landscape and the Gaelic language. Enjoy!
